A message dated April 6, 2004, was read stating the Senate has passed                               
CSHB 344(RES) with the following amendment and it is transmitted                                    
for consideration:                                                                                  
                                                                                                    
    SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 344(RES)                                                    
    "An Act relating to annual rental fees, statements of annual labor,                             
    and production royalty for mining claims; and providing a cure for
